If you're thinking of window shopping in Rome, Vittorio Bagagli's will strike you: we've chosen to be vibrant and spring-like and bring joy to anyone walking through the center's streets. We decided to follow the trend of 2023, and we did it with Venini and its bright colors.
Color is serious business for Venini
Venini has been one of our most beloved brands for years, and among the many reasons it is chosen is the wide range of colors unmatched throughout Murano, and it is a priceless asset. Each of the 125 colors made by the Venetian Maison starts with a specific recipe, resulting in an ever-changing variety of shades. The imagination that guides the search for new shades is also reflected in the choice of names: Pagliesco, Verde Erba, Orizzonte, Acquamare,Verde Rio, Tè, Giallo Ambra, and Zaffiro, for example, are just some of Venini's exclusive colors, inspired by Venice and nature.
Long live Magenta, long live Venini, long live Glass
On the other hand, the color we want to present today is a new color for our windows. Taking up the trend of the year freely inspired by Pantone's line, Viva Magenta 18-1750, we have chosen to bring to the boutique all Venini's design objects made in this nuance: a beautiful bright Magenta, with a thousand shades given precisely by Glass. Composed mainly of very pure silica sand and metal oxides, each object has different combinations and variables, resulting in very different colorations and intensities.

And that's exactly the color you can find if you drop by the boutique: for you, we have selected some of Venini's most iconic collections, such as the Dèco vase series. The rings repeat, one after the other, increase, decrease, then increase again. Rhythm: that's the word that defines the shape of these vases, an incredible dance to make your own. But you can also find Magenta in other unique pieces, such as Fazzoletto, which recalls the soft movement of skirt fabrics; Balloton, a vase outside the box; or Opalino, tall and slender.
